COVID-19

Keeping our working environment and community safe is of paramount importance and requires us
all to act responsibly. Social distancing, hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette are critical at all
times.
We have introduced some changes to the way that people access Dungloe Dental. These measures
are introduced in addition to our existing stringent infection control procedures to provide a safe environment for all.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Leading up to your appointment you must ask yourself a number of questions
Have you

-a fever (high temperature of 38 deg C or more)?

-a cough or breathing problems?
-flu-like symptoms (fatigue, aches & pains, sore throat or headaches)?
-an altered sense of taste or smell?
-any contact with Covid or suspected Covid person in last 2 weeks?

-travelled abroad in the past 14 days?
-do you pose a risk for any other reason?

If the answer to any of these questions is YES or you are uncertain, you MUST contact us immediately

WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

-You must have an appointment, no walk-ins.
-Arrive punctually and notify us of your arrival using either your phone or the intercom at the front
door.
-In most circumstances we will ask you to wait in your car until we are ready to see you.
-You are not permitted to be accompanied into the practice unless you have previously cleared this
with us.
-Gloves must be removed. Please use the hand sanitiser at the front door on entry and exit from the
practice.
-Before being admitted we will check that you do not have a high temperature.
-Bring only minimal possessions into the practice (Bags, coats, hats etc.)

WHILST INSIDE THE PRACTICE

-Exercise hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette and social distancing as much as possible.
-Mobile phone use is discouraged.
-Tooth brushing is not permitted in the toilets.
- Whenever possible please use cards instead of cash for payment.
